Only worry about things you can control.
You can only solve problems that you can control and you must cope with the ones you can't. You don't choose your problems, but you do choose your response. You must face the problem (you can't avoid it forever anyway) and learn to cope with life's circumstances (family problems, illness, job loss/problems, death) without using food.

You can ask for help to solve your problems, but make sure your solution doesn't rely on trying to get someone else to change. Always ask yourself first, "What can I do?" or "What can I change in myself that will make things better?"
