| Weigh yourself at the same time on the same scale every day, wearing no clothes or similar weight clothes each time. I like to weigh right after I exercise in the morning and before my shower. (Hint: you'll weigh the least first thing in the morning.) Don't ignore the scale when you've “blown it” for a couple of days - you need to see the result. Lots of people or plans tell you to weigh once a week. That may be more comfortable, but I don't like it because I think you'll learn your up and down cycles a lot quicker if you weigh yourself every day. Record your weight once a week, but step on that scale each and every day! | |
