Begin your exercise program slowly.
Too much too quickly is the surest way to fail.
No one expects you to start running or doing aerobics for an hour every day starting today or tomorrow. And you certainly should not expect that of yourself. Start out walking or gently bouncing on an exercise ball. Try for 15 minutes the first day. Add 1 minute each day and mix in some other exercises or activities until you're up to about 45 minutes. Adding one minute each day allows you to work exercise time into your day in a slow way. In about a month, you’ll be up to a good 45 minute walk or workout!
