Just like your eating commitments, you must plan it and write it down in your journal. Once you make exercise a written commitment, you need to schedule time to do it. Don't just try to fit exercise into your life - it never does, for anybody. Begin to organize your life around it. It's that important! Studies show that weight loss and long term weight maintenance are rare without regular exercise. Of people who lose a significant amount of weight, 95% have gained it back within 2 years. If you want to be in the other 5%, make regular exercise a lifelong commitment. It doesn't have to be strenuous or hard, but it does have to be as regular as clockwork.
