learn to recognize "Portion Distortion".
"Portion Distortion" is where restaurants tend to serve us large portions. We then to serve large portions at home because we think we know what a serving looks like. For the next month or so, measure or weigh serving sizes of foods you eat. Learn what a serving size looks like on your plate or in your bowl. Do you usually eat one serving? More or less than a serving? Look up nutrition facts for the restaurants where you eat so you will know how many calories are in their serving size.
