Day 133
You lie to yourself when you underestimate the amount of food you ate, when you
don't count or record all the calories (including nibbles, drinks and calories
in preparation), or when you eyeball food amounts instead of measuring. Try this: Practice eyeballing by estimating the weight or measurement of your food then actually weigh or measure it to see how far off you were. OR, weigh or measure your food, put it on a plate or in a bowl. Now really look at it - how full is the plate or bowl? How far up the sides or from the top? How heaped is it? How does this compare to how much of it you usually think of as a serving? |
