Be realistic and have reasonable expectations
of your plan and yourself.
Be very wary when deciding to purchase weight loss products or services - especially ones claiming unbelievable results. "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" - this wisdom applies to losing weight as much as with investing or anything else. I can't recall ever seeing a commercial, infomercial or printed ad that didn't carry the disclaimer "Results not typical", "Diet and exercise recommended", and/or "Individual results may vary." Remember, they've picked the models or their most successful clients to feature in their ads. And notice they don't claim these successful losers didn't do anything else, like plastic surgery, steroids or bodybuilding, to achieve their remarkable results.
